Savoring Santorini

What to see

Our journey begins by picking you up at the exit of the cable car in Fira or at your hotel/airbnb. Our first station will be the village of Akrotiri, on the southwest side of the island, famous for its panoramic caldera view. The lighthouse and the Venetian Castle of Akrotiri are the highlights of this quite and  charming village.

We will continue our tour by visiting the traditional village of Pyrgos. Narrow and labyrinth paths, a full of life square, blue domed churches and a Venetian Castle are few things of what to expect from the village. There we will make a stop at the traditional restaurant so as to taste the amazing products that Santorini has to offer together with a glass of wine or a cold beer. And don’t forget that the Mediterranean Diet is one of the most healthy and tasteful cuisines worldwide.

Our last visit will be the whitewashed village of Oia. The most photographed and famous village of Santorini, which has to offer great views, rich history and amazing shops.

While driving through these villages you will get information about the religion of the locals, the agricultural life of the island and of course its traditions.
